I will definitely miss the class structure, the high standard of teaching and the broad range of skilled training partners, but emotionally?

There are several people there I enjoyed chatting to (most of whom are now on my Facebook list, like Christian, Tom, Gary etc) and would count as friends, and a few people who I knew already from elsewhere, like Rosie, Brad and Dan. Still, I can't claim it is going to be a huge emotional wrench to leave.

Partly that's in line with what you guessed: when I signed up, I knew there was a definite possibility I would be moving again within six months. It is something I've gotten used to since leave RGA HQ back in early 2009: I've been to six clubs since then, so that's definitely affected my attitude to team loyalty.

I think instead I have individual loyalty, to instructors who impress me with their character, generosity, honesty etc: people like Roy Dean, Norbi, Kev Capel, Jude and others. I don't really feel a strong connection to a team, and that connection is further weakened by the fact I don't compete.

Still, I have to admit I do generally look for Gracie Barra when I move to a new area, if there's one available.slideyfoothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05374174757753962274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19359626.post-79698339882597024312010-09-22T13:04:24.057+01:002010-09-22T13:04:24.057+01:00Are you going to miss GB Brum? I'm not talking about the technical or physical aspects, more your feelings when you train there.
Just curious.Meerkatsuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04147715586194844173noreply@blogger.com
