Still, the whole time I couldn't help but think of how unpleasant it feels to have your face squashed under there (which thankfully hasn't happened to me too often). ;)

It's part of my general aversion to aggression (which may or may not be the right word to use). I've been trying to get an article together on the topic for a long time now, so this is all good food for thought.slideyfoothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05374174757753962274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19359626.post-74841567471969304072010-11-01T10:19:13.624+00:002010-11-01T10:19:13.624+00:00I LOL @ "Being too mean by sitting on their h...I LOL @ "Being too mean by sitting on their head". If someone is using brute strength to stop me from getting my Kimura I will flat bounce up and down on their head to break the grip. You only weigh like a 135lbs man. I consider being "mean" to be nothing more than an efficient use of my weight and strength.Kintanonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15796702227315166975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19359626.post-37185634130291119082010-11-01T09:54:54.363+00:002010-11-01T09:54:54.363+00:00Would be cool to see you there, matey. No need to wait until they've got the new academy set-up: the fantastic mats at GB Bristol make the trip worth it on their own! ;p

Geeza would make for a fascinating interview too, judging by the chat I had with him. Seems to have travelled and trained all over, and is now living the dream setting up his own place.slideyfoothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05374174757753962274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19359626.post-86887412036441339902010-11-01T09:35:13.380+00:002010-11-01T09:35:13.380+00:00Mmm intriguing. Given that Geeza spends a good deal of time filming vicious and ear screechingly painful submissions at every comp going, it's refreshing to note that his class has such a good attitude against meat head style jiu jitsu.
When you move to Bristol, I would be interested to see how you compare and rate the other Bristolian clubs. But already from your post here GB Bristol sounds like a awesome place and I would love to visit when the new academy is finished!Meerkatsuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04147715586194844173noreply@blogger.com
