Teaching #562
Artemis BJJ (MYGYM Bristol), Can Sönmez, Bristol, UK - 21/09/2016

It was just Kirsty tonight, so we ran through various bits and pieces from side control. When it is just one person, I will ask what they want to work on, as well as practicing stuff I want to teach. It was useful to play around with the baseball bat choke before I was teaching it in the gi class afterwards. I had been considering whether to go with the head and arm style follow up to a failed choke or an armbar: testing with Kirsty, the armbar is much easier to understand, so I'll go with that.

Also, Kirsty wanted a refresher on the bow and arrow choke, as well as the crucifix. I know there is an entry from side control into the crucifix (it's on Aesopian's instructional), but I went through the turtle one I'm familiar with.
