Artemis BJJ (MYGYM Bristol), Can Sönmez, Bristol, UK - 17/04/2018

I ran through what Kirsty taught on Monday, then quickly fit in the gi tail choke in order to practice it before Wednesday. Need to remember to block the hip as with the north south transition, as well as noting the important of punching out your gi tail for maximum length. Getting it right to the neck is important too: was there a tip from Colin Byrne at Shinobi, he mentioned a detail on that I think? Unfortunately my injury from Sunday has not improved, so I couldn't join in the sparring and had to leave early. I did lots of foam rolling, so hopefully doing loads of that will mean it's ok for the GrappleThon. Then again, even if not, I can just play Dungeons & Dragons and chat to my BJJ Globetrotter friends the whole time. ;)
