Really fun open mat, loved the rolls. Paulina's guard is getting tough to pass: I was able to do it, but took some work. Excited to see how she progresses over the next year!

Great roll with Adrienne too, I'm continuing to try the x-guard sweep, which seems to work well against her game. I also ran through the running escape series with her, which I think will fit in nicely with her escapes. She tested a bit against me, looking forward to her getting better at it so I receive a taste of my own medicine (and therefore get to refine it ;D).

In my roll with Matt, I had a go at the gi wrap kimura grip. Seems very effective: I especially like how it frees my arm, as that means I can pull up on his arm and trap it with my leg.

Teaching was enjoyable too, my first attempt at Heather Raftery's awesome quarter guard sequence that she taught at Heidelcamp this year. Looking at her video again, I need to work on my leg position. There is loads more from her sequence, so this should cover off pretty much the rest of December. :D
