24/05/2019 - Friday daytime, Neufang's gi tail escape and Jeff Rockwell's sit up variation

Class #1150
Artemis BJJ (Easton Road), Can Sönmez, Bristol, UK - 24/05/2019

Pieter mentioned on Facebook that the shin in elbow escape reminded him of what Neufang taught at Heidelcamp last year. The video looked interesting, and reminded me I was at that lesson (I soon appeared on camera, filming it ;D). I therefore gave that a shot in the daytime: it's a reasonable mechanical concept, though I probably wouldn't use it myself given that it requires an arm to be exposed. A useful one to teach though, especially as there are a number of follow ups.

Along with that, I also taught the sit up escape, given I'll be teaching that one in the Monday fundamental class. As I'll also be covering Greg's class, that means I can show Neufang's gi tail escape then. :)
